CEEC 30th Anniversary Convocation

Earlier this month, clergy and friends from across the United States and around the world gathered at our cathedral for the 30th Anniversary Convocation of the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches. The event was filled with worship, prayer, and communion, celebrating three decades of Convergence, the coming together of Evangelical, Charismatic, and Sacramental streams of the Christian faith.

During our time together, we gave thanks for and honored the founding bishops of our communion, heard words that stirred our faith, and awakened our imaginations. There is no doubt that those who gathered left renewed for the work set before them.

After the convocation concluded, the celebration continued with our diocesan gathering, which included the ordination of the Reverend Myra Hess to the Sacred Order of Presbyters and a concluding session in the chapel led by our Bishop Quintin Moore, guiding the diocese into the future with hope and purpose.

In the gallery below are pictures from both the convocation and diocesan gathering of these unforgettable moments.
